Why They Gave: I made a promise to my friend that, in the event they ever passed away, that he would not be just a simple statistic. That friend made profound changes in my life and the lives of our friends. He truly loved making a difference helping animals and I wanted to honor his memory.
Where They Gave: The donor supports the Sean Hawley fund. The purpose of the fund is to provide financial assistance to individuals who strive to live transparently and overcome life challenges. The individuals mirror the human-animal bond that Hawley - a Veterinary Technology graduate - embraced.
